Subcourse is a study of analytic techniques supported by automation--and resource management concepts that enables students to understand the systems and techniques used by the Army to manage money, manpower, and materiel. Students apply techniques of resource planning and allocation concept to develop force alternatives and to evaluate tradeoffs and performance. Lessons included: Introduction to Resource Planning and Allocation, Introduction to Decision Theory, DOD/DA Resource Management, Force Development, Decision Trees, Economic Analysis, Linear Programming, Installation Financial Management, Probability and Statistics, Analytic Forecasting Techniques--Linear Regression Analysis, Financial Management in TOE Units, Network Analysis, Application of Analytic Techniques to Installation Management Problems.
