Course consists of a series of case studies of modern military commanders, focusing specifically on 20th-century leaders such as Pershing, Patton, Montgomery, Rommell, Zhukov, and MacArthur. The object of this course is to provide the students with some understanding of the experience, leadership styles, and decisionmaking process that caused each commander either to succeed or fail.
