This course acts as an extension for the basic concepts in P310 and will focus on Soviet tactical capabilities at the level of army and below. The student will devote detailed attention to the tactics of maneuver units, company to army, study technical capabilities of weapons, survey the impact of WWII upon modern Soviet tactics, become familiar with EW threat, understand command and control procedures, and conduct research on significant issues. An overview of the North Korean threat, including all conventional arms, will be covered as a separate but closely related block of instructions. Course contains syllabus only.
