This individual development elective expands on material presented by the Strategic Studies Committee of the Department of Joint and Combined Operations. The student is introduced to the theories underlying current US military strategy, the fundamental concepts of strategy and its formulation, the current issues which impact on US strategy, and the Joint Strategic Planning System.
