This course will focus on the planning and execution of offensive operations in Eastern Europe and the Middle East. Students will be required to apply offensive doctrine and exercise tactical judgement in conjunction with combined arms capabilities in a variety of hypothetical combat operations to include movement to contact, hasty and deliberate attack, river crossing, airmobile assault, and military operations in special environments. They will develop tactical plans for operations at brigade through corps level and react to execution requirements. Plans and concepts will be presented for group discussion and critique.
