This course builds on that knowledge of the planning, programming, and budgeting system (PPBS) and force development gained from P211 (Managerial Decisionmaking). It addresses unit design and authorizations within The Army Authorization Document System (TAADS) through those actions required to structure Army's divisions. Force planning and development at the major Army commands (MACOM) and the constraints placed upon the total Army force structure are also addressed. Course contents: Meetings 1 and 2, Introduction and the Force Development Environment, TOE, FDMIS, and TAADS; Meetings 3 and 4, Division Structure Division 86 Up-Date; Meetings 5, 6, and 7, Force Development (Corps Slice); and Meetings 8 and 9, Issue Paper Cycle (17th Division Force).
