This Combat Skills Comprehensive Phase (COMPS) course introduces the Army's logistics system. Emphasis is on the Army in the field, on an overview of major logistic agencies in the continental United States base, and on structure of the combat service support system in a theater of operations. The levels of operations are Theater Army, Corps Support Command (COSCOM), and Division Support Command (DISCOM). The advance book includes extracts from FM 101-10-1, Organizational, Technical, and Logistic Data; and from FM 101-10-2, Organizational, Technical, and Logistic Data Extracts of Nondivisional Tables of Organization and Equipment.
