This individual development course provides background information and techniques necessary for an activity or program director to fulfill his responsibilities for basic resource management. While the primary focus of this course is financial management, the scope extends to interface with manpower and material management. Current Army systems and procedures used in allocation and control of limitred resources are examined. Selected management decisions made at Army installations affecting the operations of both the installation and TOE units are analyzed with conclusions reached being applicable to resource management at all operating levels.
