30 hour course examines the role of operations research/systems analysis in the military decisionmaking process. Instruction includes selected quantitative techniques to solve command and staff problems. Techniques include set theory, probability, statistics, models, decision theory, economic analysis, linear programming, and network analysis. A military case study develops insight into the application of these quantitative assessments.
