22 hour core subcourse addressing the impact of nuclear, biological, and chemical (NBC) weapons on division and corps operations in support of the AirLand Battle. Emphasis is on current tactical division and brigade command, control, and communications doctrine as it applies on an integrated battlefield in an active radioelectronic combat (REC) environment. NBC training program techniques and the effect of smoke as a combat multiplier on the battlefield are covered. Includes situation based practical exercises.
