Seeing a U.S. service member in uniform gives us a glimpse of what he represents and who he is. As we look at his awards we can get a general understanding of what kind of individual he is, professional, loyal, and dedicated. Military Combat Awards are and should be a true representation of an individual's propensity to be a carnivore, a shepherd a person separated from the masses of the weak, and a protector.
