Successful evacuation of Fort Rucker aircraft in advance of Hurricanes Bonnie, Charlie, Ivan and Jeanne was accomplished with the help of air traffic services personnel assigned to Army Radar Approach Control. Hurricane Ivan required the evacuation and return of Fort Rucker aircraft. Hurricanes Bonnie, Charlie and Jeanne involved evacuation of other locations aircraft to Fort Rucker.
