Military history comprises the events in the history of humanity, which is under the category of conflict. It may range from conflicts between proper militaries to world war or from two tribes that affects the majority of the human population. Military history is not considered as the most important aspect of historical inquiry. This is due to the fact that its popularity and importance in educating professional military personnel lies in the subject of war. Today, military history is only practiced by a small number of historians. But it must be understood that the military history of any nation is a necessary component of understanding its future.
