In this May 2014 interview, LTC Mark Reardanz, US Army, Military Intelligence, discusses his deployment to Afghanistan in the [combined joint] intelligence officer (CJ2) section for the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) Joint Command (IJC) for III Corps in 2013 in support of Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF). LTC Reardanz talks about his missions of providing intelligence to the commanding general, NATO allies, and the Afghanistan National Security Forces (ANSF). He describes his day and talks about foreign disclosure. He discusses interfacing with his counterpart in Afghanistan before they deployed and shares information about his re-deployment back to the United States. LTC Reardanz closes his interview by stating, "What I've really realized that the Army song is true to its form. The Army goes rolling along. It doesn't matter who you are or what the mission is going to continue to get done, because of the quality of the people involved in the organization."
