This paper describes my experiences at Fort Leonard Wood and the Academy during a four year time period. My years of experience as a Reservist were challenged and cherished as I helped to create a better training environment for the Reserve and Guard. These experiences have bridged gaps that previously existed between Active Army and the Guard and Reserve, and were very rewarding to me personally.
