Late 1970's. 15-year old Scott is growing up in suburban Long Island. While Scott is caught up in his first love, he finds out that the most important people around him - his father, mother and brother - are not exactly who he thought they were. He watches the relationships of his parents and neighbors slowly crumble as they try to keep up with the drastic economic and emotionally changing times. Family dynamics and divorce weave an intricate tapestry of American life.
