Second letter is five pages in length. From Colonel Melvin L. McCreary, Headquarters, 32nd Division Artillery, San Francisco, CA, to Colonel Harold F. Handy, G.H.Q. Ground Forces, Washington, D.C. Letter dated 11 March, 1943. Colonel McCreary gives his analysis of questions that were earlier posed by Colonel Handy regarding artillery and mortar action that Colonel McCreary observed while in New Guinea. This letter is forwarded with the first letter.
